Solid profiles are sections without enclosed voids — bars, flats, angles and custom shapes. KALEKS produces the full range of flat-face, pocket and feeder die designs for these profiles, matched to the geometry and press capacity. Each die is engineered with computer-aided flow balancing and correct bearing lengths so the profile comes out within tolerance and with a clean surface on the first trial.
The main steel plate that forms the final section; bearing work balances metal flow.

We design and machine the entire stack in-house — die plate, feeder, backer, bolster, spacer ring and, where needed, sub-bolster. Single-source full-set production guarantees component fit and lead time.

Solid dies are used for profiles without enclosed voids (bars, flats, angles) and consist of a single die plate. Hollow profiles require porthole dies.
